Although not directly fed by any interstate highways, Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) is surrounded by important highways on three fronts, and the major Daytona Beach to Tampa I-4 runs nearby to the west. Located to the northeast of Orlando, the airport is the city's second airport in both size and importance, and is actually located in the nearby city of Sanford.
To the north of Orlando Sanford Airport you will find the vast Lake Monroe, which dominates the area and provides many waterfront attractions. Located to the southeast, Lake Jesup is also close to Sanford Airport and is crossed by the I-417 Central Florida Greeneway / Seminole Expressway.
The H.E. Thomas Junior Parkway / US-46 edges the northern side of Orlando Sanford Airport, while access to the grounds can be gained along the East Airport Boulevard, to the south.

- Head south along I-4 and take Exit 101C onto West 1st Street
- Travel south on Rinehart Road (431B)
- Take the Central Florida Greeneway Expressway east and exit onto East Airport Boulevard for the airport
- South Sanford Avenue and East Airport Boulevard feed the airport from downtown Sanford

- Take the Central Florida Greeneway Expressway north
- Exit east onto East Lake Mary Boulevard for Sanford Airport

- Take Highway 46 west
- Turn left onto Beardall Avenue
- Turn right onto South Patrol Road and follow signs for the airport

- From the west and Lake Mary, take Old Lake Mary Road east
- Turn right onto Airport Boulevard, which leads to East Airport Boulevard for the airport
